Cyprus

An Island of Tranquility

The largest island in the eastern Mediterranean, Cyprus provides ample opportunity to experience something new, interesting and exciting, whatever the season.
For many visitors, North Cyprus is “the Mediterranean as it used to be”. Instead of crowded resorts, malls and the familiar international chains you can see anywhere, you can enjoy remote villages, pristine beaches, simple and hearty cuisine, natural beauty and a slower pace of life.

Surrounding Area

North Cyprus offers an abundance of interesting places to visit. The entire area is much less crowded even during high-seasons, and you have the feeling of being part of the local population, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere, simple and tasty fresh food and pure natural scenery.
The ancient towns of Famagusta, Kyrenia, Karpaz, Lefke, Guzelyurt, Nicosia or Yeni Iskele have many historic locations which are worth seeing. If you wish to go deeper into the history of Cyprus, visit one of many Cypriot museums in Nicosia (the Stone Works Museum Laphitos, the Mevlevi Tekke Museum), Kyrenia (the Kyrenia Museum Of Folk Art, the Museum Of Public Arts, Shipwreck Museum), Famagusta (the Canbulat Tomb & Museum, the Dungeon and Museum of Namik Kemal, the St. Barnabas Icon & Archeology Museum), Guzelyurt (the Guzelyurt Museum, the Archeology and Nature Museum), or Yeni Iskele (Icon Museum of Iskele). If you prefer fine art, we recommend you visit one of the unique North Cyprus galleries.
